planmy.recipes is operated by Flat White Labs. The short version: we only store what we need to keep your cookbook working, we don't sell anything to anyone, and you can delete your account and data at any time by emailing the address at the bottom.

What we collect

• Your identity — the name, email, and profile picture your Google account shares when you sign in. We use it to associate your cookbook with you.
• The recipes you save — the YouTube URL you paste, the structured recipe extracted from it, and any tags, favourites, or notes you add.
• Basic logs— standard server logs (IP, user agent, request path) for debugging and rate limiting. We don't build analytics profiles from these.

We do not collect payment information. The service is free to use.

Who we share it with

• Clerk — handles sign-in and account session management.
• Google (Gemini API) — receives the YouTube URL you paste, and — for the optional enhance and grocery-list features — the recipe titles and ingredient lists you choose to run through them. Google processes these to generate structured recipes, search suggestions, and merged grocery lists.
• YouTube — the URL you paste points at their service; standard YouTube terms apply when the video is fetched.
• Neon & Vercel — our database and hosting provider. They store your data on our behalf.

We don't sell your data, rent it, or share it with advertisers. There are no trackers or third-party analytics beyond what the providers above need to operate the service.

How long we keep it

Your recipes stay until you delete them or delete your account. Logs are rotated within 30 days.

Your rights

You can export, edit, or delete any recipe from within the app. To delete your account and all associated data, email the address below and we'll remove it within seven days.

Cookies

We use a session cookie set by Clerk to keep you signed in. No advertising or analytics cookies.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we'll update the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
